Caomhan's Pattern Day Walk, Wednesday, June 14th., 2017.
Meeting point: Bill O'Brien's Doolin Ferry Co. sales office, Doolin Pier, County Clare.
@ 09 30.

Caomhan is the patron saint of Inisheer (Inis Oirr). On Inisheer he is known affectionately by the title "Ara Chaomhain" which means " Our Dear Friend Caomhan".
He is said to have been a disciple of Enda of Inis Mor, which would place Caomhan in the 6th. century. Caomhan's Church was built in the 10th. century and is similar in design to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Glendalough, County Wicklow, which is the location of Kevin's monastic site.
Were Caomhan and Kevin brothers ?
