The village of Corofin is situated on the edge of the Burren, one of Europe’s most distinctive landscapes.
Corofin a traditional village steeped in history, provides the visitor with the opportunity to explore, and be enchanted by what they discover, whether they spend a few hours or several days in the area.

Corofin is famous and well known for its hospitality, traditional music, fishing, walking, drama society and a wealth of other activities and attractions to meet the many tastes and requirements for all its visitors.
Accommodation is provided in first class B&B’s, selfcatering, hostels and camping. The village has many fine pubs and restaurants. Most pubs provide musical entertainment. In July and August Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann provides traditional entertainment at Teach Cheoil on Thursday evenings.
Corofin is home to the festivals – The North Clare Agricultural Show, Corofin Traditional Festival, Festival of Finn with it’s infamous World Stone Throwing Championship and Ireland’s Best Beard & Moustache Competition; and also hosts many other events throughout the year.
